ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - You have a chance to shoot you shot with the Missouri Department of Conservation.
The MDC is offering free archery lessons and Media Specialist with the MDC Bill Graham told KXCV/KRNW that participants will be taught a variety of basic archery skills including the terminology and functions, shooting posture, accuracy tips, and maintenance and safe storage of equipment.
This event is open to those age 11 and older and all equipment will be provided. This event will occur next Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Pigeon Hill Conservation Area near St. Joseph.
