Missouri organizations launch pedestrian safety campaign

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety says this week they have launched a campaign that is all about pedestrian safety.

This week's campaign looks to educate pedestrians and drivers about what to watch out for and to ensure everyone is safe.

Tara Vanlou, with the Missouri Department of Transportation Highway Safety Unit, told KXCV/KRNW that they want to remind drivers about the importance of watching out for pedestrians when behind the wheel.
