CHARITON, Iowa - The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is conducting a turkey production survey this month and next month, and they are asking people for help with it.
Forest Wildlife Biologist with the DNR Jim Coffey told KXCV/KRNW that they want details on the sex of the turkey, and if and how many turkey babies were with them. Males can be distinguished by the beards on their breasts
