BOONE, Iowa - Iowa pheasant hunters can expect the 2021 pheasant population to be similar or slightly higher than the previous year.
Upland Wildlife Biologist for the Iowa Department of Conservation Todd Bogenschutz told KXCV/KRNW that there are the more promising pheasant spots for the state.
While the data is still being collected, the full survey results will be posted online at iowadnr.gov/pheasantsurvery around September 15.
