MDC gearing up for managed deer hunts


JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Throughout this month, deer hunters can apply online through the Missouri Department of Conservation's website for a shot at more than a 100 managed deer hunts throughout the state this fall and winter.

News Coordinator with the MDC Joe Jerek says hunters will be selected by a weighted random drawing. Results will be available August 15 through January 15.

Applicants who are drawn will be given the information via email or by mail if an email isn't linked to the customer's account. More information is at mdc.mo.gov/managedhunt.
