MSHP: Three people injured in wreck

ALBANY, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says three people are injured after a two-vehicle wreck in Gentry County.

The Patrol says 21-year-old Jared Moffat of Albany wrecked on US Highway 136, six miles west of Albany, at 9:28 p.m. Monday.

Authorities say Moffat was driving a 2004 GMC Pickup that crested a hill and struck the rear of a 1987 John Deere Tractor, driven by 64-year-old Russell Gillespie.

Both vehicles crossed the center line, traveled off the side of the road and down a steep embankment, and overturned. Gillespie was ejected.

Moffat and his passenger, 18-year-old Seth Hutchinson of Albany, were transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph and Albany with serious injuries.

Gillespie had moderate injuries and was transported to Mosaic in Albany. None of them were wearing seatbelts.
