BETHANY, Mo. - Northwest Missouri residents have the opportunity to participate in a 10-session leadership training program this fall.
County Engagement Specialist in Agriculture and Environments with the MU Extension Office Jackie Spainhower told KXCV/KRNW that the Neighborhood Leadership Academy is geared towards community awareness, and will end with a community based project.
Spainhower adds that participants should come prepared with an idea for a project that they can implement.
To register, you can visit extension.missouri.edu and search for "Neighborhood Leadership Academy." The deadline to register is Aug. 16.
