ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, and the faster-spreading delta variant, public health departments across northwest Missouri are issuing an advisory.
The region's public health departments wants both vaccinated and unnvaccinated residents to take precaution to protect themselves and their community.
City of St. Joseph Health Department Public Information Officer and Health Educator Stephanie Malita told KXCV/KRNW that unnvaccinated individuals are the most at risk.
Malita adds that it's going to be up to individuals to take initiative.
