NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. - At its latest meeting, the Nebraska City Cuncil discussed the submission of an application to the state for the American Rescue Plan Act.
City Administrator Louis Leone told KXCV/KRNW that the ARPA funds are allocated to every city, as part of the latest federal government-authorized stimulus package.
Leone says the council also elected to drop municipal policies involving the city's current general insurance company, Berkshire.
The city's policy is due for renewal by October 1 and Berkshire has notified the council that the corporation is not renewing it.
