Northwest offering incentives for COVID-19 vaccine


MARYVILLE, Mo. - Northwest Missouri State University will be rewarding students who get a COVID-19 vaccine. According to a press release, the university will award prizes totaling $20,000 to students who are fully vaccinated.

To participate, fully vaccinated students must submit a copy of their COVID-19 vaccine record to the Wellness Center on campus or by email to health@nwmissouri.edu.

Random drawings for winners will happen on Aug. 1 and 18, as well as Sept. 13. Prizes include scholarship funding, parking passes, dinning dollars and gift cards to the Bearcat Bookstore.
