MARYVILLE, Mo. - Northwest Missouri State University has earned national recognition for the fifth time in seven years.
The American Association of State Colleges and Universities recognized Northwest with an Excellence and Innovation Award this year. Northwest received the honor for it's managing of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The AASCU said Northwest had outstanding results with it's pandemic plan and that that plan could be a potential influence and serve as a model for other institutions.
