WalletHub looks at best and worst states to live in

WASHINGTON - When it comes to the best states to call home, one state in the KXCV/KRNW listening area is in the top 10.

According to the financial website WalletHub, Iowa is the ninth best state to live in. Other states in our listening area were in the middle of the pack, with Nebraska ranking 20th, Kansas ranking 24th and Missouri ranking 30th.

WalletHub looked at several metrics for this, including housing costs, poverty, income growth, crime and other factors. The best state to live in was New Jersey while the worst state to live in is New Mexico.
