ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a teenager died in a two-vehicle wreck in Buchanan County over the weekend. The Patrol says the 14-year-old Savannah teen wrecked on North Belt Highway in St. Joseph at 9:31 p.m. Saturday.
Authorities say the teen was driving a 2004 Honda Motorcycle when a 2005 Toyota Camry, driven by 34-year-old Anna Allison of St. Joseph, was slowing down to turn onto Northridge Drive and proceeded through the intersection as the motorcycle approached.
The motorcycle struck the Toyota in the front passenger side, ejecting the teen. The teen was taken by Buchanan County EMS to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, and was later pronounced dead at 12:09 a.m. Sunday. Allison had no injuries.
