Mosaic now requiring employees to be vaccinated

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Mosaic Life Care will be requiring mandatory COVID-19 vaccines for caregivers.

In their announcement Wednesday, Mosaic officials said the first group will have to be vaccinated by Nov. 1, but some exemptions will be allowed.

The requirement to receive shots will be phased in over time. Volunteers and new hires will be required to be vaccinated, starting Sept. 13. Just over 60% of Mosaic employees have been fully vaccinated.
