MARYVILLE, Mo. - A mask mandate is coming back to Northwest Missouri State University.
According to an email from the office Northwest President Dr. John Jasinski, mask mandates will be temporarily re-instated for all indoor areas on the campus effective Aug. 13.
The email says that the re-instatement of the mask mandate is due to the volatility of the Delta variant, low vaccination rates, and following updated CDC guidelines.
