MARYVILLE, Mo. - One company wants to take a more in-depth look at Mozingo Lake. At Monday night's Maryville city council meeting, HDR Engineering presented a water monitoring plan which will provide a lot more data on Mozingo Lake.
City Manager Greg McDanel told KXCV/KRNW that right now HDR Engineering tests the water for algae and quality, but H-D-R wants to examine other things like water temperatures.
HDR Engineering has worked on several different water projects across the country over the years and was contracted by Maryville in Summer 2020 to help analyze water issues surrounding Mozingo Lake.
