HELENA, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a man is in serious condition after a single-vehicle crash in Andrew County.
The Patrol says Dewey Heath of Helena, 34, crashed on County Road 281 at MO Route Z, one mile south of Helena, at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Authorities say Heath was driving a 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan that traveled off the side of the road, became airborne, struck the ground, and overturned several times.
Heath, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with serious injuries.
