KEARNEY, Mo. - A Clarinda native and former Northwest Missouri State University football player has been charged with first-degree sexual misconduct.

Bryant Hummel, who played at Northwest from 2009 to 2013, is accused of exposing himself to two 17-year-old female students on multiple occasions in 2020.

Hummel, who teaches math at Kearney High School and is also a football and wrestling coach, was placed on administrative leave about five months ago. Hummel is scheduled to appear in court on October 25.
