MARYVILLE, Mo. - While their latest meeting was brief, the Maryville R-2 Board of Education got the ball rolling on a major task.
In an agreement approved by the Board of Education, the Missouri School Boards Association will assist with the search for a new superintendent.
Current superintendent, Dr. Becky Albrecht, announced at the August Board of Education meeting that she'd be retiring after this current school year.
The Board of Education is hoping to have a new superintendent lined up before the end of this year.
