FALLS CITY, Neb. - At it's latest meeting, the Falls City, City Council talked about two ideas which could shape the future of the city.

First, the City Council requested funds to build a new 33rd St. to Highway 73 on the north side of town in an effort to lure new businesses, but City Clerk Kevin Cluskey says it will do more than that.

Secondly, the city council discussed a housing study committee, which will study how to deal with nuisance and blighted properties in the city.

Cluskey told KXCV/KRNW that this will help with beautification, as well as attracting affordable housing developers to the area.
