ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The University of Missouri Extension Services is urging growers to take action and scout your fields and pastures for fall armyworms.
Several states, like North Carolina and Texas, are seeing a significant increase in armyworm populations. Field Specialist in Agronomy Wayne Flanary told KXCV/KRNW that these pests can cause damage to crops and yards.
Flanary adds to use the correct insecticide for control.
