BRAYMER, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a teenager is in serious condition after a single-vehicle wreck in Caldwell County.

The Patrol says Jonathan Meservey of Braymer, 19, wrecked on Route A, five miles north of Braymer at 5:08 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities say Meservey was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado that drove off the side of the road, overcorrected, then drove off the other side of the road and overturned, before ejecting Meservey.

The Silverado was then engulfed in flames. Meservey, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with serious injuries.
