CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - At it's latest meeting, the Chillicothe R-2 Board of Education labeled teachers as essential workers, which allows the workers to not have to use leave days if they do have to quarantine.
Superintendent Dan Webbers says the label also allows them to not quarantine if they were in close contact with a tested-positive individual.
There were no specifics on COVID-19 numbers, although Webbers says the health department says the numbers are stabilizing and maybe even decreasing.KXCV-KRNW
