KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Area utility company Evergy is seeking more wind energy.
Manager for External Communications for Evergy Gina Penzig says part of the company's ongoing commitment is to move to more renewable resources over time.
The wind projects would fulfill the plan to add up to 1,000 megawatts of wind energy by 2026.
Midwest wind projects must have a minimum of 50 megawatts of wind resources and project proposals are due by November 23rd. For more information, visit evergy.com/2021rfp.
