MARYVILLE, Mo. - Presiding Judge of the Fourth Circuit Court in Missouri Roger Prokes will not finish his term.
Earlier this month, Judge Prokes notified Missouri Gov. Mike Parson and Chief Justice Paul C. Wilson about his plans to retire, with his final work day being Tuesday, November 9.
In his retirement announcement, Prokes says that the decision was driving by the fact he's turning 70 on the following day.
A replacement to serve the remainder of Prokes term, which is through December 31st, 2024, will be appointed by Gov. Parson.
