PLEASANT HILL, Mo. - The National Weather Service has confirmed two tornado touch downs in Livingston County, as well as one in Daviess County, during severe weather this past Sunday.
A preliminary damage survey revealed that the first tornado in Livingston County was an EF-2, with max winds of 120 mph. It touched down just south of Chula and was on the ground for 47 minutes.
The second tornado, which was only an EF-0, touched down near the intersection of Highway 190 and Country Road 525 and was only on the ground for a brief amount of time.
As for the tornado in Daviess, it was an E-F-0 that touched down near the intersection of Haven Road and 115th Street. It was only on the ground for a very brief amount of time.
