Presentation on two vaudeville performers from Iowa

Pearson brothers

CLARINDA, Iowa - Glenn Miller is the most well-known person from Clarinda, but one author is hoping to change that. Dan Henderson will be doing a presentation this month on his two grand-uncles, Carl and Earl Pearson.

The Pearsons could have followed in their families footsteps and worked in a coal mine, but instead they became vaudeville performers on Broadway.

Henderson will give a presentation on their lives on Monday October 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Clarinda public library. The presentation is open to the public.
