CAMERON, Mo. - A teenager is under arrest after allegedly making a threat against an area school.
According to Cameron Police and Emergency Management, the Cameron School District received notification that a threat was made using social media Monday night.
During investigation of the threat, a Cameron High School student was identified as a suspect. The 17-year-old, who was in St. Joseph at the time of the investigation Tuesday, was taken by St. Joseph police back to Cameron for questioning.
Authorities say the teen is now in a Juvenile Detention Center awaiting charges.
