FOREST CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation is re-opening an area closed for the last two years. The Bob Brown Conservation Area in Holt County is back open after being closed for damage caused by floods in 2019.
Media Specialist for the MDC Bill Graham said there are no major changes to the area. The fixes included road, pump and interior levy repairs.
Graham also says the area is popular with waterfowl hunters, but hunting is limited to specific pools, which can be found on the M-D-C website.
