MERCER, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 64-year-old Missouri man is dead after a crash in Mercer County.
The Patrol says Gary Sexton of Liberty was driving a 2013 Ford F-250 on US Highway 65, one mile north of Mercer.
At 5:40 p.m. Monday, the Ford, which didn't have it's headlights on, crossed the center lane striking a motorhome, driven by 71-year-old Merlin Hall of State Center, Iowa.
The crash killed Sexton, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, and seriously injured Hall, who was wearing his seatbelt. Hall was taken to Wayne County Iowa Hospital.
