JAMESPORT, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol has identified a 60-year-old Missouri man who was killed in a semi accident in Daviess County this week.
The Patrol says James H. Loyd of Purdin was driving on MO 6 Highway in Jamesport at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday.
Authorities say the semi traveled off the road, struck a driveway and went airborne before coming to a rest at the bottom of a ditch and catching fire.
Loyd was pronounced dead about 20 minutes after the wreck. It's unknown if he was wearing a seat belt.
