NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. - At it's latest meeting the Nebraska City Council adopted the National Incident Management System (NIMS) as the basis of incident management in the city.
City Administrator Louis Leone says everyone working with the city will be trained on NIMS.
NIMS was created in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina. In other business, the council approved the purchase of a sander for the city's dump truck and discussed advertising space on the disc golf course.
