TRENTON, Mo. - At their latest meeting, the Trenton city council discussed redoing solar farm agreements.
City Administrator and Utility Director Ron Urton says when Gardener Capital and MC Power originally constructed their solar farm, the plan was to sell that in five years to the Missouri Joint Electric Utility Commission.
Urton told KXCV/KRNW that the wording in the agreement is the same, but the names of the parties involved are changing.
In other business, the Grundy County Commission requested a price reduction in rent for using a portion of the fire station to house their ambulance and personnel.
The council considered reducing the rent to a dollar a year. No action was taken on this and their will be further discussion in the future.
