WASHINGTON D.C. - When it comes to diversity, one state in our listening area appears to be lagging behind others. According to WalletHub, which ranked all U-S states, Iowa is the 9th least diverse state.
WalletHub looked at several diversity metrics, like generational, ethnic, occupational, industry, and several other fields.
As for other states in the KXCV/KRNW listening area, Kansas ranked 25th, Nebraska 26th and Missouri ranked 36th. California was considered the most diverse state while West Virginia was the least diverse state.
