JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Preliminary data from the Missouri Department of Conservation shows that young hunters, ages six through 15, hunted 3,477 deer during Missouri’s late youth portion of the 2021 deer hunting season.
Top counties for the hunt, which happened November 26-28, were Osage, Franklin and Miller counties. Last year’s total for the late youth portion was 3,967.
