ST JOSEPH, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol has released preliminary crash numbers from the Thanksgiving holiday.
The Patrol says there were nine fatalities and 114 injuries associated with 457 crashes over the five-day span. The Patrol adds there were 125 DWI's and 72 drug arrests.
The Patrol says the numbers for the holiday were from last Wednesday through this past Sunday. During the 2020 Thanksgiving holiday, troopers investigated 307 traffic crashes, which included 10 fatalities and 86 injuries.
