Dec. 7, 2021St. Joseph, Mo. | By: Jacob Coffman
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Planning is underway for an event to give the Northwest Missouri region a more effective voice in Jefferson City. The 20th Great Northwest Day at the Capitol is being planned for February 2022.
Buchanan County Coordinator for Great Northwest Day Tama Wagner says one issue she expects to be brought up at the event is broadband internet access.
The two-day event includes an introduction to the legislation, regional roundtable sessions, keynote speakers, and a showcase of what the region has to offer. Wagner also says that Gov. Mike Parson will be one of the keynote speakers present.
