WASHINGTON - When it comes to happiness, two states in our listening area have something to smile about.
WalletHub ranked the happiest states in the U.S. and found that Nebraska was the 14th happiest state, followed by Iowa. Missouri ranked 29th and Kansas ranked 31st.
WalletHub looked at several things, including adult depression figures, work hours, the unemployment rate, safety and several other metrics. The happiest state in the U.S. was Utah, while West Virginia came in last on the rankings.
