Emma Atwood

Northwest Missouri State women's basketball was picked by the coaches and media to finish in the same spot as the 2020-21 campaign.

The MIAA Coaches Poll has the Bearcats tied for ninth with Missouri Southern, while the media rankings have the Green & White in the ninth spot outright between Missouri Western and Southern.

Northwest posted a 7-15 record last season just missing the cut for the MIAA Tournament. The team returns 10 players, including MIAA Freshman of the Year Molly Hartnett.

The Bearcats open the season at home November 6 against William Woods.

Interviews with Northwest's Emma Atwood and Jayna Green are available on the podcast Bearcat Rewind.
