WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - One area grocery chain now has free Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine boosters for 12- to 15-year-olds.
Hy-Vee announced the boosters are available by appointment only and have to be at least five months after the individuals second dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
It is recommended that patients bring a photo ID, insurance card, and their vaccine record card. Masks are required for the appointment. Patients can schedule their COVID-19 vaccination by visiting hy-vee.com/covidvaccine.
