DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Department of Natural Resources has good news for anglers in the state. The D-N-R says anglers who are at least 65-years-old can now purchase a lifetime trout fishing license at a cost of $65.
According to a press release, that fee will go towards stock state trout streams and community trout ponds. Licenses are available at 700 locations across the state, as well as online at gooutdoorsiowa.com.
