HAMILTON, Mo. - Construction on a big project in the KXCV/KRNW listening area is set to begin this year.
Construction on the Little Otter Creek Reservoir project will begin in March, but before work can begin, the Caldwell County Commissioners approved a contract late last week with the builder, Phillips Hardy Inc., for nearly $14.5 million.
The project will create a 345-acre reservoir will supply over one million gallons of raw drinking water per day. Officials also expect the project to reduce flooding along the creek and provide recreation for area residents and visitors.
