JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Agriculture has announced a new grant through Missouri Grown.
The Farmer's Market Promotion Matching Grant Program will award up to $1,000 for reimbursement of expenses associated with promoting the state's farmer's markets.
To be eligible, a farmer's market must meet the USDA definition of a farmer's market, be located in Missouri and be a registered member of Missouri Grown. Applications are due by Feb. 18. For more information, go to agriculture.mo.gov.
