HAMILTON, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Transportation is inspecting a U.S. Route 36 bridge after it was struck by a large vehicle.
MODoT didn't say what kind of vehicle hit the overpass in Hamilton, but says it happened Wednesday. The bridge was already damaged from a crash back in September 2021.
Due to the damage, U.S. Route 13 is now narrowed to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction. Temporary traffic signals are helping motorists in the area.
