GOWER, Mo. - Ice is believed to be the reason behind a single-vehicle wreck that injured two St. Joseph residents.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Dawn Reital, 48, was driving a 2001 Ford Taurus with Peter Stroud, 50, in the car on Highway 169, five miles north of Gower.
At 10:30 p.m. Saturday, the Ford slid off the road and struck a ditch before overturning. Reital suffered serious injuries while Stroud suffered moderate injuries. Neither were wearing a seatbelt.
