MSHP: St. Joseph man wrecks truck on NYE

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol has identified a St. Joseph man that wrecked a truck in Buchanan County on New Year's Eve.

The Patrol says Travis Melton. 41, was driving a 1995 Chevy S10 on MO 6, just six miles east of St. Joseph, at 11:25 a.m. last Friday.

Authorities say the truck left the road, skid and overturned. Melton, who was wearing his seat belt, was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with serious injuries.
