WINSTON, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Transportation says icy roads may be to blame for a deadly two-vehicle crash in Daviess County.
The Patrol says the wreck involved Briaunna Goodwin of Cameron, 26, who was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe and Linda Wilcox of Trenton, 63, who was driving a 2013 Ford F-150.
At 7:35 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. 69 Highway, about three miles south of Winston, Goodwin lost control of her Chevrolet before it crossed into oncoming traffic, colliding with the Ford.
Goodwin suffered moderate injuries while Wilcox was declared dead at the scene. Neither driver was wearing their seat belt.
