St. Joseph, Mo. – The following is a list of general highway maintenance and construction work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northwest Missouri region for the week of Jan. 3 – 9   

All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.

Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region such as pothole patching, striping, signal work, etc., in addition to the work mentioned below.

Atchison County

Route 46 – Pothole patching from U.S. Route 59 to Route EE, Jan. 3  

U.S. Route 59 – Shoulder work from Tarkio to the Iowa state line, Jan. 3 – 7   

Buchanan County

Route CC – Roadside work from Route 116  to Mumford Road, Jan. 3, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. One lane will be closed with flaggers guiding motorist through the workzone.

Route MM – Roadside work from Route 116 to Old Frame Road, Jan. 4, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. One lane will be closed with flaggers guiding motorist through the workzone.

Route MM – Roadside work from Old Frame Road to Route DD, Jan. 5, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. One lane will be closed with flaggers guiding motorist through the workzone.

Carroll County

Route Z – CLOSED until further notice from Route C to County Road 217 due to damage caused by a roadway slide and ongoing geological studies. A repair project is currently scheduled for the February 2022 letting.

Route JJ – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from County Road 248 to County Road 260, Jan. 3 – 4,  8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily

Route JJ – CLOSED for a culvert replavement from County Road 111 to County Road 121, Jan. 5, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Daviess County

Route K – Pothole patching from Route P to Route B, Jan. 4  

Route MM – Pothole patching, Jan. 5 – 6

Route K – Roadside work from Lilac Avenue to Major Avenue, Jan. 6 – 7

Gentry County

Route U – Pavement repair from Route O to County Road 450, Jan. 3 – 7  

Grundy County

Route A – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from NW 95^th Street to NW 100^th Street, Jan. 4, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Route W – CLOSED for bridge maintenance from SW 30^th Avenue to Route F, Jan. 6, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Linn County

Route C – CLOSED for bridge maintenance from Route KK to Hawk Drive, Jan. 3 – 4, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily

Route O – Bridge maintenance over West Yellow Creek, Jan. 5 – 6, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Flaggers will be in use to guid mororists through the workzone.

Nodaway County

U.S. Route 71 – Shoulder work from Route CC to Route FF, Jan. 3 – 7  

Sullivan County

Route T – CLOSED for bridge maintenance from Route 5 to Ember Drive, Jan 4, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Worth County

Route 46 – Roadside work from Route F to County Road 150, Jan. 5
