KC-area man found dead in Livingston County

CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - The Livingston County Sheriff's Office says a Kansas City-area man was found dead in northwestern Livingston County by some Jamesport residents.

The Sheriff's Office said Michael Daniel Daly of Blue Springs, 45, was last seen alive by a Deputy on December 18, as Daly walked along 36 Highway. The Sheriff's Office says he declined assistance from officials.

Daly's body was found in the Poosey Conservation Area last Saturday, February 20 at 2:47 p.m. Authorities believe that Daly was most likely homeless and died from exposure to the weather.
