JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Agriculture is accepting proposals for another one of it's grant programs.
The MDA says people can submit an application for funding through the Specialty Crop Block Grant Program. Specialty crops include growers of fruits, vegetables, honey, tree nuts, horticulture and nursery crops.
The program will help growers with developing distribution channels, marketing, promotion and several other items.
Proposals are due by 3 p.m. on March 8. More information, as well as the application, can be found at agriculture.mo.gov.
